Generally, the program is targeted to juniors and seniors in high school. However, the program can be presented to any and all high school students.
Who makes the MoneyWise presentations at the school?
Local bankruptcy attorneys and judges present MoneyWise to high school students. Generally the presentations are made by at least two individuals.

How long is the presentation?
The presentation is designed to last one class period, or between 45 minutes to one hour. Because the program is interactive, the program may take more time. However, discussions with the attorneys and students are encouraged so that students continue to be involved and interested.
Can I schedule more than one presentation at my school?
Absolutely! Often, presentations are made over the course of a school day, so presentations can be scheduled during multiple class periods at the convenience of the school and teacher.
Who is responsible for handouts and materials?
MoneyWise is presented by attorneys and judges who volunteer their time and resources, so the presenters will normally supply all materials.

How much does it cost to schedule a presentation?
MoneyWise is a program created by the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section, and the program is presented by local attorneys who volunteer their time and resources. The program is presented at no charge to the school or to the students.

My students could not believe that lawyers would actually take the time to come to our school and talk to them. It was obvious to me that they were very impressed with the presentations. I think one could tell from their questions that this was the case. They wanted to see the relevancy to their own personal situations.
